Who we are
The Roe Jan Ramble is a community event sponsored by the Towns of Copake, Hillsdale and Ancram, and run by volunteers. We want to share the pleasure of riding through our scenic countryside, and raise money to support and extend the Harlem Valley Rail Trail for bikers, joggers, walkers & everyone.
Help us support the Rail Trail!
The Harlem Valley Rail Trail is a paved bicycle/pedestrian path built on the railbed of the old Harlem Line of the New York Central Railroad. It is ideal for runners, bicyclists, walkers, rollerbladers, cross-county skiers, wheelchair users, hikers and dog walkers who enjoy combining the quiet beauty of rural landscapes with healthy exercise. The trail in Columbia County, New York from Copake to Hillsdale, feeds into the Taconic State Park.
Join the friends and supporters of the trail at the Harlem Valley Rail Trail Association.
