The 6th Annual Roe Jan Ramble Bike Tour is a non-competitive ride perfect for both the casual as well as committed cyclist. Whether you enjoy a simple ride with your family, or you are an experienced dedicated cyclist, the Ramble offers something for everyone.

This year we've added a 5th route! All routes are on paved, lightly traveled public roads or rail trail through lovely farmland, rolling hills and picturesque hamlets. The Ramble begins and ends in Copake Memorial Park.

10 mile Route: Starts 11 AM. An easy ride, perfect for families and the casual cyclist. Mostly flat with a couple gentle hills through the town of Copake and surrounding countryside. Route details. Schematic Map. GPS coordinates file.

NEW: 18 mile Route: Starts 10:30 AM. For those who want a comfortable ride that's more than our basic 10-miler, and easier than our 25 mile route. Gorgeous views, with flat to moderate rolling hills. Route details. Schematic map. GPS coordinates file.

25 mile Route: Starts 10 AM. A pleasant moderate ride with rolling hills, a couple more challenging inclines, and curving vistas through Copake and Ancram. Charming hamlets, great views of the Taconic Mountains and the farms of the Roe Jan area. Route details. Schematic mapGPS coordinates file.

35 mile Route:  Starts 9 AM. A moderate to challenging ride, with hills and vistas that will captivate you and inspire.  Includes a ride on the newly completed sections of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail between Copake and Hillsdale. With twisting curves and moderate to difficult climbs, this ride is considered by local cyclists as one of the most scenic. Route details. Schematic mapGPS coordinates file.

50 mile Route:  Starts 8 AM. For the committed cyclist who wants the full experience, this ride combines the 25 mile route with the last 25 miles of the 35 mile route. If you love cycling, you'll definitely want to do this one! Route details. Schematic mapGPS coordinates file.

The 25 route has one rest stop with food, water and restrooms. The 35 mile route has two rest stops, and the 50 mile route has three.
